There’s literally no way this would have worked. That’s like a $500 corrective color service, minimum. Getting blue out is no joke.

Quick PSA:
No amount of toner will make up for not letting lightener process long enough.
Toner is not designed to lighten, it is designed to cancel out unwanted tones.
Lightener lightens.
If you do not wait patiently for your lightener to reach the required level then your toner will just make you feel darker or worse, turn you gold later when you try to remove it to go lighter.
Just sit patiently. Trust us.

Absolutely one of my favorite tools for speed and bond smoothness.
This tool allows me to apply 5 fusion extensions with a single button push and makes sure they are perfectly smooth and flat to the head. I can finish an average head of 100 strands in under and hour with this machine and that means I can make room for every client with fewer delays.

One of my favorite things to do after a heavy color or lightener session is to take braiding hair and style the hair like this. Instead of using gel to keep the natural hair slicked, I use a mixture of Olaplex and deep conditioners to seal the hair and heal potential damage. This gives us a little more time before the first heat styling session and allows the moisture from the conditioners to really sink in.

It’s all about that blend.

This is the same hair, left without flash, right with flash.
It’s crazy what a difference lighting can make.

This girl has become one of my best friends. I always look forward to seeing her and I keep telling her to move out to Texas because she’d love it here.
I met her when she experienced some horrendous medical related hair loss. She had always had long thick hair but after spending some time in the hospital while sick she had lost a ton of hair.
This particular look was created using one package of 20″ tape in hair extensions just for fullness. These were chosen due to the ability to move them up every 4-6 weeks which would allows us to keep close track of her fresh hair growth and ensure that we weren’t adding any additional stress to her hair or scalp.
I’m happy to report that it has been a few years and her hair is all grown back in nice and thick again, and I still love hanging out with her every time she comes into the shop.

So, fair warning, this is my mother. She is one of the most energetic and epic women I know. A few years back she had been having hip problems that were preventing her from participating in her Zumba and Kangoo classes the way she wanted to.
After being brushed off by her doctor telling her “well, when you’re OUR age things just hurt” we decided we needed a look that better matched her personality. We got rid of her grey hair and replaced it with a black and red piece pattern. Then we went to a new doctor.
This one looked at her, looked at her chart, and looked back at her and basically said “nah, we’re gonna get this taken care of for you.” We are convinced the vibrant hair helped and we haven’t really looked back since.
Currently her whole head is a vibrant shade of purple, like a fancy grape soda, every bit as bubbly and effervescent as my mother’s personality.

This look was created using tape in hair extensions from International Design Corp in a 21″ length that were then trimmed and layered for blending.
We used more hair on her head than I would typically because we needed to match her natural density. SEVEN whole packs where I would normally use a maximum of 3 or 4.
You can’t deny the end result though. With color to match and gorgeous placement, the end result is virtually impossible to detect. Exactly how hair extensions should be.
