My Favorite Things: Shellac Pedicures!

Shellac by CND
Shellac by CND

Nothing makes me happier than a fresh pedicure, unfortunately when it’s cold outside I don’t want to wear flip flops for hours and hours while it dries fully. Enter Shellac!

Now I can get my toes done and put my socks on as soon as I’m done. Best thing ever! It lasts even longer than a regular pedicure. Try it at once and you’ll love it, I swear.

Shellac itself is a brand name for gel polish by CND. Other companies have Gellish, OPI Axxium, and several others. I’ve tried pretty much all of them with no major differences in wear time or nail health. Go wild for them!

It’s My New Favorite Thing

So I get on kicks about stuff, as I’m sure you could guess. I find new products to try and when they’re awesome I simply have to share.

So here’s the latest: my new addiction is imPRESS press-on manicure by Broadway Nails. They’re designed to last up to a week. I’ll grant that because my hands are in shampoo sinks all day long they don’t last as well as they should, but I’m happy to use it as an excuse to change them twice a week. At $6.99 a pack it’s still cheaper than when I used to get a nail salon fresh set done every two weeks.

I just LOVE these!
